Graduates MLC Voter List Preparation Must Be Thorough: Collector Surabhi
Wanaparthy District Collector Adarsh Surabhi has told officials to prepare the Graduates' MLC voter list carefully and within the set schedule for the Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Graduates' MLC election.
Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer P. Sudarshan Reddy held a video call with District Collectors across the state on Friday. They reviewed how the voter list is being prepared. He asked officials to follow Election Commission rules closely and make sure eligible graduates register on time.
Form-18 applications must reach the office by November 6. The draft voter list will be published on November 25. Claims or objections will be accepted from November 25 to December 10. Supplementary lists must be done by December 25. The final voters' list will be published on December 30.
What the Collector asked officials to do
The Collector told officials to reach out to eligible graduates and inform them about the process. He also asked them to check applicant details carefully against the right certificates. Every step must be clear and accurate, with no mistakes left in.
Wanaparthy District Collector Adarsh Surabhi and Additional Collector T. Vinod Kumar attended the meeting from the Collectorate. RDO Subrahmanyam, Tahsildars and other officials were also present.

Graduates Must Reapply for Telangana MLC Voter List by November 6
Wanaparthy District Collector Adarsh Surabhi has released the voter list notice for the Graduates' MLC elections covering Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy, and Hyderabad districts.
He shared this at a press conference in the Collectorate conference hall on Tuesday. Here is what graduates need to know.
A new voter list is being prepared for these elections. So, even if you have registered before, every graduate must apply again using Form 18, either online or offline, to be eligible to vote.
Only those who finished graduation at least three years before November 1, 2026 can apply. The last date is November 6. Officials will visit applicants' homes to verify their details, so keep your proof of address and graduation certificate ready.
Key dates to remember:
- November 25: Draft electoral roll comes out
- November 25 to December 10: Time to file objections to the draft
- December 25: All objections will be resolved
- December 31: Final electoral roll will be published
For offline applications, submit Form 18 at the concerned Tahsildar's office, by post or in person, before the deadline.

Congress Political Affairs Committee Reviews Voter List Revision
Congress leaders met at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday for a political affairs committee meeting. Attendees included AICC general secretary Sachin Sawant, Minister Vakidi Srihari, MP Mallu Ravi, CWC member Vamshi Chandar Reddy, and Wanaparthy MLA Tudi Megha Reddy.
The discussion centered on the recent Special Summary Revision program. It was a productive session. Party members reviewed how booth-level representatives and activists handled the voter list revision process. They also looked at ways to improve public awareness for future drives.
Building party strength
Beyond electoral rolls, the group talked about building new party offices in various districts. Strengthening the organization from the village level up to the district level is a top priority.

Voter List Verification Drive in Wanaparthy
Electoral Roll Observer K Surendra Mohan says that missing names in the draft voter list do not mean they have been removed. If your name is not there, you can still apply using Form 6. Officials have found over 86,000 voters in Wanaparthy who need to check their details because of errors or mapping problems.
Check your voter details
Check if your name is on the list of people with errors or mapping issues. If it is, you must go to a hearing with the assistant electoral registration officer. Remember to bring valid identity proof to these sessions. If you were born after 2007, you need to bring your own ID plus the ID cards of both parents. This process makes sure your name stays on the final voter list.

Voters in Telangana may receive Election Commission notices
Voters in Telangana can expect a notice from Election Commission. Officials are sending these out after the draft voters list came out on August 17. This is part of a special review of the electoral roll.
Data shows mistakes in over 20 per cent of forms in most districts. Wanaparthy has 28 per cent, while Nizamabad and Mahbubnagar are at 27 per cent. Hyderabad has a lower rate of 13 per cent. Total errors across the state are over 62 lakh.
Language and Data Issues
Experts say language translation issues are the main cause. Older lists were in Telugu. Moving that data to English using AI apps caused confusion. This is a messy situation for citizens who may find their details flagged incorrectly.

Wanaparthy officials push for faster voter form collection
Election officials in Wanaparthy are working harder. RDO and Electoral Registration Officer Subramanyam recently did surprise checks to make sure Special Intensive Revision is on track. He visited several polling stations in Pebbair and Srirangapur mandals to see how Booth Level Officers are doing their jobs.
Officials are visiting homes to help voters who might have money problems or trouble with paperwork. Staff must collect forms quickly and upload the data online without delay. Accuracy in electoral rolls is very important for every voter.
