AAP Protests Outside Delhi Election Commission Office Against Vote Theft
AAP held a strong protest outside Delhi Chief Electoral Officer's office at Kashmiri Gate on Wednesday. The party demanded action against what it calls 'Vote-Chori'. Congress and other opposition parties joined the demonstration called by AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj.
MLAs Sanjeev Jha, Jarnail Singh and Kuldeep Kumar were there along with a large number of AAP workers from across Delhi. Slogans of "Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod" rang out as police set up multiple layers of barricading.
Saurabh Bharadwaj made serious claims. He said around 45,000 votes were deleted from Arvind Kejriwal's New Delhi constituency, which had 1,45,000 total votes. He pointed out that Kejriwal lost by just 4,000 votes. He also alleged that more than half the votes in Delhi have been deleted in the name of SIR.
The party has two clear demands. Restore all deleted votes in Delhi, and force Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign. Burari MLA Sanjeev Jha called the 2025 Delhi government formation illegal. He said Election Commission has become a shield for BJP. Jarnail Singh and Kuldeep Kumar also called for Gyanesh Kumar's removal.
Bharadwaj also talked about tensions with Congress. He asked Mallikarjun Kharge to step in and said AAP has taken part in protests since October 2. The party has set October 10 as the date for the next phase of the movement.

Delhi Voter Roll Deletions Explained
Concerns are growing in Delhi because data shows over 10 lakh names were removed from electoral rolls between January 2025 and June 2026. This mass removal happened just before the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process started.
Election Commission says these removals are part of regular updates. Officials claim they are mostly deleting duplicate entries. This includes voters who were registered at both their workplace and their native home. Booth Level Officers are working to make sure every eligible voter has only one valid entry.
Missing Name Details
Many residents in areas like Burari and Sant Nagar report that their names are missing from the draft list. Some people say officials never contacted them for verification. If your name is missing, you should follow the official process to submit a Form 6 application for inclusion before the final list is locked.

AAP raises concerns over mass voter deletions in Delhi
Aam Aadmi Party leaders are worried about the recent voter list update in Delhi. The party says about 1.67 lakh names were removed from the voter list in Burari assembly area.
Sanjeev Jha, the local MLA, said nearly 40 percent of voters in his area were marked as shifted. He noted that many migrant workers and tenants were unfairly left off the lists. The party wants Election Commission to share details on these removals to keep things clear and allow for checking.
Voter list concerns
Official records show many names were also removed in places like Okhla, Badarpur, and Vikaspuri. AAP leaders asked election officials to share contact details for affected people, so they can get help to register again.

AAP alleges Election Commission withheld data on deleted Delhi voters
Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj is worried about the latest voter list update in Delhi. He says the Election Commission did not share key details, like names and contact info, for the 47.5 lakh voters taken off the list.
The party says that without this data, they cannot check if those removals were correct. The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer reportedly promised to share the list, but the party says it has not arrived yet. Bharadwaj mentioned that the party does not plan to go to court right now. They want to focus on public and constitutional steps instead.
Voter list deletions
The recent revision led to many names being removed across several areas. The highest number of deletions were reported in Burari, Tughlakabad, Okhla, Kasturba Nagar, and Badarpur.

AAP Raises Concerns Over Delhi Voter List Revision Process
Aam Aadmi Party leaders have raised concerns about the ongoing voter list update process in Delhi. Party members say about 50 per cent of people living in villages and unauthorized colonies did not get the required forms. This is happening even though officials claim they reached over 99 per cent of the area.
Saurabh Bharadwaj, Delhi President for AAP, said Booth Level Officers are not visiting homes in these parts of the city. He is worried that many voters are being listed as shifted without being checked. MLA Sanjeev Jha pointed out problems in his Burari constituency. He noted that low form return rates mean many names might be wrongly removed from voter lists.
Request for more time
The party has asked the Election Commission to give more time for the voter list update. They believe Delhi needs a different approach because many people are tenants who change homes often. Leaders warned that the current system could prevent many residents from voting.

AAP Alleges Irregularities in Delhi Voter Revision Exercise
Aam Aadmi Party has raised concerns about the ongoing voter list review in Delhi. Party leaders say nearly half of the residents in villages and unauthorised colonies have not received their forms. This does not match official data claiming over 99 percent distribution.
AAP Delhi President Saurabh Bharadwaj says reports from the ground show a different situation. He claims Booth Level Officers are holding back forms in some areas while focusing on wealthy neighborhoods. Burari MLA Sanjeev Jha shared worrying numbers from his area. He noted that many polling booths have few form submissions, and many voters are being wrongly marked as moved.
Voter list concerns
The party worries these actions could lead to names being removed from electoral rolls. Durgesh Pathak noted that many people in the city live in rented homes. This makes them more likely to be affected by these administrative errors. AAP has asked the Election Commission to extend the deadline and make sure the process is fair for everyone.
