Senior officials from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer in Odisha are visiting districts to monitor the Special Intensive Revision of voter lists. This field work, taking place from July 20 to July 29, 2026, helps make sure voter lists are accurate and clear.

Teams are checking progress in Sundargarh, Kendujhar, Kalahandi, Angul, and Jajpur. These officers review how claims and objections are handled, look at registration records, and meet with Booth Level Officers to solve local problems.

Improving the voter list process

These visits on the ground are very important for fixing delays in processing forms. After these visits, the CEO office will use the findings to make technical improvements. This helps keep the democratic process running well for every eligible citizen.
