Nagpur Draft Electoral Roll Published With 14.44 Lakh Names Under Review
Nagpur district published its draft electoral roll after a special revision. This update covers over 14.44 lakh names, which is about 31% of local voters. If your name is marked as uncollectable, it is not deleted forever. You just need to check your details.
How to update your voter status
If your name is missing or flagged, you can file claims or objections from August 31 to September 30. The final electoral roll for Maharashtra should be out on November 4. Urban areas like Nagpur West and Nagpur Central have more flagged entries than rural parts like Umred and Ramtek. Please check your status and send your required documents to the Electoral Registration Officer so your vote counts.

Nagpur achieves major milestone in voter list digitisation
Nagpur district hit a big step with 216 polling parts fully finishing digital Enumeration Forms for the Special Intensive Revision. Kamptee is leading the district with 89 parts finished. Ramtek follows closely with 68.
Progress across the district
Local staff are working to meet the schedule set by the Election Commission. Booth-level officers are holding special camps and visiting fields to speed things up. Rural areas like Katol and Umred are making good progress. City areas are moving a bit slower, mostly because of locked houses and people moving often.

Nagpur voter digitisation progress update
Rural areas in Nagpur lead in voter data digitization with 46 percent completion. Urban areas are behind, with only 14 percent finished so far. Officials note that frequent address changes and migration make urban verification hard.
Revised voter data deadlines
Election Commission has pushed the Special Intensive Revision deadline to August 8 to help booth level officers finish their work. The draft electoral roll will be published on August 17. Currently, Ramtek has the best progress with 65 percent of its forms done, followed by Umred at nearly 60 percent. Make sure your details are updated with your local booth level officer before the new deadline.

Nagpur Electoral Roll Verification Lags Behind
Nagpur district has made slow progress in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. By July 17, only 25.91 percent of voters have been checked and added to the digital records. Rural areas like Ramtek and Umred are doing okay, but city areas are lagging.
Slow progress in cities
All six city areas in Nagpur are still under 20 percent. Nagpur South is moving the slowest, with only 7.02 percent of the work finished. The process depends mostly on Booth Level Officers because few people are using the online service. Online participation is currently at just 0.16 percent.
Deputy Election Officer Dr. Rachna Indurkar asks residents to work with officials when they visit. A correct voter list is very important for the system. Please verify your details now to avoid problems later.
