Uttarakhand Voter List Revision Campaign Targets 100 Percent Completion by July 7
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in Uttarakhand are conducting a special voter list revision campaign to reach all 79.50 lakh registered voters in the state. As of June 17, officials have successfully reached 77 lakh voters for form distribution and data verification.
The election department has set a deadline of July 7 to achieve 100 percent coverage. While six districts have already completed over 99 percent of the form distribution, the focus has now shifted to the digitization of these records. Currently, 12 percent of the collected forms have been digitized, with Almora, Pauri, and Pithoragarh leading the progress.
Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande has directed officials in Dehradun and Nainital to accelerate their digitization efforts. Technical manpower and volunteers are being deployed to assist BLOs in meeting the state-wide targets.
