Telangana CEO orders error-free voter roll revision
Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C Sudarshan Reddy has asked election officials to finish the Special Intensive Revision of voter lists with full clarity. While checking work at Ambedkar Bhavan in Nirmal, he mentioned that all eligible people must be on the list.
Voter list updates
Officials need to remove names of people who have died or moved away. The CEO told Booth Level Officers to check house details by visiting homes. He also asked for public information campaigns to help young people turning 18 sign up. Keeping an accurate list is very important for fair elections across the state.

Telangana CEO Reviews Voter List Revision Process
Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy recently checked the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Adilabad and Nirmal. He said that accuracy is very important. Officials must make sure every eligible person is on the list. They also need to remove names of people who have died or moved away for good.
Voter list updates
During his visits, the CEO talked with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to check survey forms and new registration applications. He asked officials to help young people turning 18 sign up to vote. Clarity is the top priority for this work. If you need to fix your name, age, or address, now is the time to do it through your local BLO.

Telangana voters receive notices after hearing dates pass
Many voters in Telangana feel confused after getting Special Intensive Revision notices for hearings that already happened. Printing and delivery delays slowed things down. Reports say over 45 percent of voters are still waiting for their notices.
Voter notice delays
One resident from Nirmal said their family got a notice on September 5 for a hearing scheduled for September 1. This is not just one case. Volunteers and party representatives confirmed this is happening across the state. Election officials have stepped in to address this. They promise to send a new date to anyone who missed their hearing because of these delays. Keep an eye out for updates from your local election office.

Analysis reveals 14.9 lakh Muslim names excluded from Telangana electoral rolls
A recent look at the Election Commission of India draft voter rolls for Telangana shows a worrying trend. About 14.9 lakh voters with Muslim names have been flagged for possible removal under categories like absent, shifted, dead, or duplicate. Hyderabad makes up more than half of these cases.
Data shows that in Hyderabad, 40 out of every 100 voters with Muslim names are missing from the draft rolls. In the other 32 districts, this number is 13 out of every 100. Most of these removals, about 61.6 per cent, are due to voters being marked as shifted.
Voter list concerns
Districts such as Nizamabad, Nirmal, and Adilabad also have high rates of names being left out. Because Indian voter rolls do not list religion, this study used name-based patterns to track the data. Check your registration status to make sure your name was not removed by mistake from the final list.

Congress addresses voter list anomalies in Adilabad
Congress leaders in Telangana are worried about a large number of ASDD voters. These entries include people who are absent, shifted, deceased, or listed twice, all found during the voter list update. Party leaders are telling booth agents and local committee heads to check the draft lists closely.
Protecting voter rights
The main aim is to stop real voters from being taken off the list and to help people whose names are missing. Jupally Krishna Rao, the minister in charge of the district, will look into these problems to stop any loss of votes. If eligible people find their names missing, they can apply to be added or use Form 8 to update their details.
Data shows many unfinished forms in several areas. For example, Nirmal district had over 44,000 of these forms. Similar issues appeared in Adilabad, Boath, Mancherial, and Asifabad. Local teams think some of these mistakes happened due to technical errors when officials uploaded the data.

Nirmal District Collector calls for transparent voter list revision
