Neemuch

Congress workers in Neemuch held a protest at Vijay Talkies Square following the rejection of former MP Meenakshi Natarajan's Rajya Sabha nomination form. Members of the Youth Congress, Women Congress, and NSUI burned an effigy of the Election Commission to express their anger.

Protesters alleged that the rejection was a planned conspiracy, claiming the form was rejected on grounds not specified in the required columns. Women Congress District President Asha Sambhar and Youth Congress leader Vaibhav Ahir questioned the impartiality of the Election Commission and warned of further intense protests if their demands are not addressed.
