A Booth Level Officer (BLO) in Kalahandi district has been suspended for failing to perform his duties during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The official, identified as a teacher at Boringpadar Upper Primary School, reportedly ignored repeated instructions from the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer and the local Tahsildar to attend to his assigned tasks.

Kalahandi Collector Sachin Pawar ordered the disciplinary action following the official's continued absence and lack of cooperation. District authorities have reiterated that strict action will be taken against any personnel found neglecting their responsibilities in the voter list revision process for constituencies like Bhawanipatna and Narla.
