Kannur

Kerala State Election Commission is updating the voter list for 38 local body wards. By-elections are being held in these areas because elected members either resigned, passed away, or were disqualified. If living in these wards, check the following dates.

Important dates for voters

Draft voter lists come out on July 21. If your name is wrong or missing, send in an application by August 5. The final list arrives on August 19. If you turned 18 by January 1, 2026, you can register to vote. People living in districts like Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Kannur should check their information for accuracy.

You can use the official state election portal for most updates online. If you need to remove a name from the list, however, you must print your request and submit it to the Electoral Registration Officer.
