Samajwadi Party is working to grow its support before the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Party leaders told booth agents to sign up at least five new voters at every polling station in the state.

Election strategy

This plan builds on how the party did during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. By focusing on local connections, the party hopes to reach families by talking to individual voters. They are also running surveys in all 403 Assembly seats to improve their plans and find possible candidates. This includes areas like Kannauj, Lucknow East, and Mahona.

Although Samajwadi Party is trying this new method, BJP members disagree. BJP representatives say their own booth network is better. They suggest the opposition is just trying to copy their way of organizing.
