Fazilnagar

Residents of Chainpur village in the Fazilnagar block of Kushinagar have raised serious concerns regarding the final voter list for the upcoming panchayat elections. Villagers allege that names of many eligible voters were removed without valid reasons, while the names of deceased individuals remain on the list.

Additional complaints include reports of duplicate entries and the inclusion of names of women who have long since moved to their marital homes. Affected villagers have filed a formal complaint on the Chief Minister Jansunwai Portal seeking a fair investigation.

The SDM of Kasya, Santraj Singh Baghel, has assured residents that once the voter list revision portal reopens, officials will verify the claims and take necessary action to include all eligible voters.
