Dwarka

Trinamool Congress raised concerns about the timing of an Election Commission hearing set for September 12. Party spokesperson Saket Gokhale called the timing suspicious, noting that it clashes with the BRICS Summit. This hearing covers a dispute over the party's control, name, and election symbol.

Hearing Details and Political Impact

Even with these concerns, the party will attend the meeting at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management in Dwarka. This dispute involves claims from the Mamata Banerjee faction and a group led by Ritabrata Banerjee.

Assembly bypolls in Nandigram and Rejinagar are happening on October 6. The result of this hearing is very important for both sides as they prepare to choose their candidates.

Delhi voters should note that the release of the draft electoral roll is now set for August 31. Election Commission officials chose to delay this after the chief electoral officer asked for more time to fix issues with crowded polling stations. Some booths currently have more than 1,200 voters.

## Updates to polling stations

Teams are busy splitting these crowded booths and finding new spots in areas like Sangam Vihar and Dwarka. You can file claims or objections about your details until September 30. The final voter list will be published on November 4. This work helps make the process clear for everyone.
