Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer V. Anbu Kumar says more than 80 percent of enumeration forms are now out across the state. This is part of Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. It started on June 30 and ends on July 29.
Rural areas are finishing this fast. Bengaluru and other urban centers are slower. CEO noted that Chitradurga and Davanagere have almost finished distributing all forms. Officials are also talking to political parties to fix any problems with the process.

Karnataka electoral roll revision update
Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer V Anbukkumar said over 80 percent of enumeration forms for Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls are now distributed. This door-to-door work started on June 30 and will end on July 29.
Districts like Chitradurga and Davanagere have almost finished. However, urban areas are moving slower. The CEO told officials to make sure every home is covered.

Karnataka government prepares for drought management
Karnataka is facing a drought, as per Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara. State government told officials to manage water carefully since reservoirs are almost empty. Drinking water for people and livestock is the top priority.
Meetings have already happened in Belagavi, Chitradurga, and Tumakuru. To help farmers, the government is giving out fodder kits and setting up fodder banks.
