Jaipur district administration has appointed sub-divisional officers (SDOs) to run 19 Panchayat Samitis. The current terms for these rural bodies end this month. These officers will act as administrators to make sure daily work stays on track until new elections happen.

Administrative changes in rural bodies

Collector Sandesh Nayak signed the orders to keep services running smoothly. SDOs are taking charge of regions like Jamwaramgarh, Bassi, Toonga, Chaksu, and Kotkhawda. Similar steps are happening across Rajasthan as the terms for 6 Zila Parishads and 78 Panchayat Samitis wrap up. District collectors are handling these roles in those areas.
