Conjoined twins Sohna and Mohna receive voter enumeration forms in Amritsar
Sohna and Mohna, the well-known conjoined brothers, got their enumeration forms for Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026. A Booth Level Officer visited their home in Attari constituency. This was to make sure their details in the voter lists are correct.
Both brothers are registered as separate voters. In 2022, they became the first conjoined twins in India to get their own Electoral Photo Identity Cards. It was a big step.
Voting Rights for All
This scheme shows how Election Commission of India wants to help everyone vote. It makes sure every citizen can use their right to vote, no matter their physical condition.
District officials said door-to-door checking is happening across the region. This helps keep voter lists clear and updated.
