Amethi: Villagers allege irregularities in voter list
Residents of Kasrawan village in Amethi have submitted a formal memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) alleging significant irregularities in the final voter list. The villagers claim that 160 names were removed from the list, including those of former village heads and panchayat members, while 159 new names were added.
The complainants have raised concerns regarding booth numbers 70 and 71, alleging that eligible voters were removed without valid reasons, while names of deceased individuals and ineligible persons were included. The villagers have demanded a fair investigation into the matter and strict action against the responsible officials.
